RN Med Surg FT Nights
The Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a friendly and supportive environment. Minimum Requirements: New graduate OR minimum two (2) years of experience. Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university. Current and valid nursing license in the State of New Mexico or compact state. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills; excellent communication, interpersonal abilities and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Adherence to Holy Cross Medical Center policies surrounding patient safety, infection control and HIPAA. Strong oral and written communication skills in dealing with a variety of individuals. Compassionate, patient-focused and adaptable to the dynamic needs of a rural healthcare setting. A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required within sixty (60) days of hire.
