Radiologic Technologist

Qualifications Required: Capable of all routine diagnostic procedures including but not limited to: Routine Fluoroscopic OR Trauma Portable radiographs or fluoroscopy limited specials such as Myelograms and Venograms. Lic/Reg/Cert: Current Oregon RT and License ARRT registered within 6 months of hire. (Note: New Graduate Rad Techs not yet completing Radiology Tech training must have a current Oregon limited RT License verses a regular RT license and ARRT registration). Typical Physical/Mental Demands: Medium to very heavy physical demand level capabilities required (lifting and moving patients 100 to 300 lbs). Must be able to work independently as well as with Physicians coworkers and to provide service to patients of all age groups. Must be able to take 24 hour stand-by. Essential Job Functions: Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients. Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical or emotional stress and gather and exchange patient information with nursing personnel and physicians. Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications. Provides immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
