As an Imaging Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of imaging operations within the designated healthcare facility(s). This role will report directly to the Divisional Imaging Director and requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring high-quality patient care. The Imaging Manager collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff, to optimize workflow, maintain regulatory compliance, and enhance overall departmental efficiency.
Job Responsibilities Summary: Manage and assist in all daily Imaging operations to ensure a productive and efficient workflow and environment. Manage updates and personnel functions to include hiring, staffing, evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Collaborate with MUHA departments and affiliated services to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to providing radiology services and effective resolution of customer complaints or problems. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Job Description
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology Several years of experience in medical imaging, with progressive leadership responsibilities; prior supervisory experience preferred. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
