Senior Manager - Technology Operations - Enterprise Data Strategy - Operating Framework - Strategic Initiatives
We are seeking a Senior Manager to drive implementation of the Data Operating Framework and Strategic Initiatives. This role will act as our data expert, overseeing the execution of the data operating framework with the objective of enhancing data competencies. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with teams across various functions to define and carry out data initiatives that are aligned with our business objectives and foster innovation. The Enterprise Data Strategy team is at the forefront of shaping our organizations data-driven future. We drive the development and execution of the enterprise data strategy, empowering our organization to harness the power of data to drive innovation, enhance decision-making, and achieve strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Implement and support the data operating framework encompassing data governance, data management, data quality, and data analytics. Establish metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Identify gaps and develop strategies to drive remediation. Support cross-functional teams on data-related projects, initiatives, and capabilities. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and requirements. Build relationships and partnerships to drive collaboration and alignment on data initiatives. Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in data management, analytics, and artificial intelligence. Support change management efforts to enable the adoption of new data tools, technologies, and processes. Leverage training materials, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support to users to promote data literacy and adoption. Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and innovation throughout the organization. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred. 7+ years of experience in leadership roles focused on data strategy, data management preferably in a large enterprise environment. Strong understanding of data governance, data management, data architecture, and data quality principles and practices. Experience supporting data initiatives and driving business value through data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in change management, organizational transformation, and driving cultural change towards data-driven decision-making. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) related to data management and privacy. Minimum Qualifications: Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area. Option 2: 7 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
