Job Responsibilities
Direct the Network, Infrastructure, Biomed, Information Security and Telecom teams. Ensure that all IS Technical Services personnel complete in a timely and accurate manner all their assigned duties. Implement and maintain policies and procedures for network design, support and usage. Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the security controls necessary to protect Shepherd Center's Information Systems. Assure full data back-ups for all systems are performed. Implement and periodically test disaster recovery plans. Direct telecom installations and the testing of all new related services. Direct the install and documentation of wiring for voice and data. Research new technologies and recommend adoption when appropriate. Perform root cause analysis when necessary for P1 and P2 events. Perform other related duties as required. Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Center and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system. Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Required Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree with a major in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or equivalent 8 years of experience or CNE/ECNE and/or MCSE or other MS certification. Required Minimum Certification
No professional certifications required. Required Minimum Experience
Five to seven years of experience in an Information Systems Management role. Three to five years of experience in network system design and implementation. Three to five years of experience in a health care. Three to five years of experience in a supervisory role. Familiarity with some if not all of the following: TCP/IP, UNIX, Windows, Hypervisors, Agile PPM, DR/HA methodologies, SANs, and Security Frameworks. Knowledge of Personal Computer systems, knowledge of Microsoft based software mandatory, knowledge of UNIX systems desirable. Required Minimum Skills
