Job Responsibilities
Manages the daily activities of the Business Applications Team, which is responsible for support of various business applications including Workday, UKG Kronos, RLDatix, and SnapComms; software development on various platforms such as ServiceNow; and system interface and integration development support. Manage the Business Applications staff; motivate, evaluate, and discipline staff; distribute and evaluate their work assignments. Maintain and create data integrations between enterprise systems. Design and implement software solutions based on solid requirement specifications. Test software prior to implementation, as well as that of the Business Applications Team, against project requirements; create and execute test scenarios. Create software documentation for own development projects and review that of others on the Business Applications Team. Actively communicate with team members and IS Management regarding ongoing project statuses. Escalate issues to IS Management when appropriate. Troubleshoot system issues when necessary. Effectively communicate with customers. Maintain knowledge of current technology in use at Shepherd Center and its ability to achieve clinical and business objectives. General support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and associated applications. Act as project manager as necessary. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, engineering, or equivalent related experience. Five to seven years of experience in an Information Systems environment; four to six years of experience in software development; two years working in a supervisory role. Good technical background in web technologies, such as Java, C# and scripting languages. Experience with relational databases. Hands on experience in software development and coding; experience in more than one programming language preferred; passionate about coding. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to deliver on the timelines. Strong personal ownership with the ability to set and meet high professional standards. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships. Ability to provide advanced-level Information Systems expertise in solving and evaluating complex issues.
