The main responsibilities for the CNC Process Engineer, include, but are not limited to: Troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing processes, including cycle time reduction, improved documentation, setup efficiency, tool life, and fixture/gauge effectiveness. Reviewing non-conforming material and determine disposition, including writing rework instructions and initiating corrective actions. Collaborating with external vendors to track and enhance performance. Leading and supporting continuous improvement projects such as 5S, lean manufacturing, and process standardization. The CNC Process Engineer should have the following qualifications: Experience using CAM software, 2D drafting, and 3D solid modeling (Siemens NX preferred, but not required). Solid understanding of CNC machining, programming, cutting tool selection, and setup processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T. Familiarity with welding, brazing, heat treating, and plating processes is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred, though on-the-job training is available for the right candidate. You Should Be Proficient In: Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) CNC Programming and understanding of G-code & M-code Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Tools & Technologies You'll Use: CAM Software (preferably Siemens NX) What's on Offer
