Senior Manager - Customer Strategy And Insights
Location: Bentonville, Arkansas We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Customer Strategy and Insights Lead to join our team. This role will be pivotal in shaping our business strategies by gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing customer feedback. As a leader, you will drive all aspects of our primary research, driving feedback collection and reporting in ways that inform key decision-making processes. This is a high-visibility role, requiring a blend of creative thinking, analytical expertise, and strong people skills to navigate complex challenges and deliver actionable insights that influence business outcomes. What You Will Do: Lead Customer Research and Feedback Collection: Manage and lead end-to-end customer research initiatives, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methods to gather deep insights into customer behavior, needs, and satisfaction. Leverage AI and Feedback Tools: Deploy AI-powered tools and advanced analytics to synthesize and organize customer feedback across multiple touchpoints. Ensure actionable insights are surfaced efficiently and clearly for internal stakeholders. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner closely with teams across Sales, Care, Product, and UX to ensure that customer insights are embedded in decision-making processes. Facilitate collaboration to implement insights into tangible business solutions. Primary Research with Vendors and Agencies: Oversee primary research efforts, working with external vendors and agencies to execute custom research studies. Manage the end-to-end process, including designing surveys, interviews, and focus groups, and analyzing the findings. Strategic Insights Delivery: Regularly communicate findings and insights to senior leadership and business stakeholders. Provide strategic recommendations that drive product, service, and operational improvements. Creative and Innovative Thinking: Continuously think outside the box to identify new ways to collect and analyze customer data. Introduce innovative research methodologies and tools to stay ahead of industry trends. Insights-driven Decision Making: Help the organization shift towards a more insights-driven decision-making culture by advocating for data-backed decisions across all business functions. What We Are Looking For: Proven Experience in Customer Research: Extensive experience (5+ years) in customer research, market research, or customer insights, with a focus on primary research methodologies and feedback collection. Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large sets of customer data and extract meaningful insights. Experience using AI and other advanced analytics tools to analyze and present data is a plus. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions, including Sales, Product, UX, and Customer Care. Proven track record of influencing decisions through research insights. Vendor Management: Experience working with third-party vendors and research agencies, managing relationships, and ensuring quality research outputs. Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively to address complex research challenges and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
