Afterschool Nanny Position
A loving family on the Upper West Side is seeking an afterschool nanny to help keep them on track! The children are six and eight years old. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 3pm to 7:30pm. The nanny should already be local to the NYC area as the family is not looking to relocate anyone. The position is currently hiring with a September start, immediately following Labor Day. Responsibilities
- Pick up the children from the bus/school - Supervise afterschool activities (piano, chess, etc) - Meal prep/cook on occasion - Dinner routine - Bath and bedtime routine - Parents are usually home for dinner and bedtime, so the nanny can tidy up during that time (dishes, wipe down the dinner table and counters, take out the trash, etc.) - Occasionally run errands (such as picking up a prescription or getting milk from the corner store) - Child-related tasks include laundry and tidying up spaces and belongings, receiving packages, and putting them away. - Helping out with occasional tasks around the home Requirements
- Must be legal to work in the US - College degree - Driving is not required - Fully vaccinated - Traveling is not required, but a plus if the nanny is interested Salary and Benefits
