Primary responsibility is to welcome all guests, issue appropriate valet tickets when Bell Captain is not present, give a fond farewell, assist guests with the loading and unloading of their luggage, provide directions, act as a guide for in-house guests, assist front desk staff and concierge, act as a doorman when necessary, and be a team player to the Guest Services team. Job Requirements
MUST HAVE Valid Driver's License Provides valet parking services to safely and efficiently move guest vehicles to designated parking areas Assists guests with unloading luggage from vehicle and escorting them up to their room, providing detailed introduction to room type and amenities Assists guests with loading up luggage from room, getting it down to their vehicle and loading it in for them, before asking if the guest(s) need directions to their next destination. Understands guest services needs and exceeds guest expectations by taking advantage of opportunities to add a special touch Greet guests who arrive to the hotel by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel. Responsible for interacting with guests in the lobby, while ensuring the area is neat and tidy Provides recognition to repeat guests Additional Requirements
Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language Must have a valid driver's license Minimum of 1 year of experience in a guest services environment Able to work well unsupervised Basic computer skills necessary Teamwork
Maintain a good working relationship with other associates by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working climate Partake in a positive work ethic and surrounding environment Standards
Able to work alone without direct supervision Demonstrate high degree of drive and determination Constantly recommend service and product improvement to better the operation Keep the work area clean and tidy at all times Attend all required meetings Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures Properly handle and report associate and guest accidents Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental polices/service procedures/standards Assist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as assigned by management Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel Work Environment
Standard hotel setting Physical Demand
Will be outside consistently during all weather types Continuous standing 100% of the shift with the exception of driving Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying required up to 200 lbs.
