The Topcon Healthcare HR Team is growing. We are looking to add a newly created position of Workday Administrator to the team. The Sr. Workday Administrator oversees the Workday platform's configuration, maintenance, testing, and optimization. This role ensures the seamless operation of Workday systems, manages security configurations, and collaborates with stakeholders to support business processes, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements. A key focus of this role is maintaining data integrity and accuracy across all Workday modules. This position is required to be on site in Oakland, NJ, or La Jolla, CA. Responsibilities
Serves as the primary administrator for the Workday platform, including configuration, maintenance, data loads, integrations, and optimization. Manage and prioritize incoming requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues and support for routine reporting and enhancements. Align business requirements with HR systems, including working cross-functionally with other groups such as Payroll and IT. Perform Workday system configuration, test, and validate results to meet business needs. Develops and maintains documentation for Workday processes and configuration. Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards in Workday to support HR operations, routine audits, and ad hoc data requests. Oversee data integrity to include quality, accuracy, security, and usability of employee data and related interfaces by implementing adequate processes and audits. Troubleshoot system and integration issues with a sense of urgency and provide effective solutions. Work closely with global HR team members to define, analyze, and document business processes, systems, and data in order to provide effective solutions. Proactively prepare and execute system enhancements, swiftly resolve technical queries, manage fixes and releases, and ensure impeccable data quality. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including system configuration and project management. Workday Certification is preferred. Strong understanding of HRIS systems, database management, and data analysis. Prior experience with implementation and roll-out of Workday, including initial configuration, user acceptance testing, and launch. Strong understanding of Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking. Deep knowledge of Workday report writing and custom calculated fields. Must have strong critical thinking skills, excellent organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop reports. Ability to troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions. Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize (and re-prioritize) multiple projects of varying complexity. Ability to work effectively with HR, IT, and other stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
