The Senior Manager, Distribution Center, is responsible for leading the distribution center to achieve financial and efficiency goals while encouraging a culture of integrity, intensity, innovation, and involvement. This role leads all aspects of the hiring, training, development, and coaching of staff to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement. Keys to Success

Education

Bachelor's degree required. Experience

8+ years of proven Sr Management experience leading Managers & Supervisors Distribution operations knowledge & experience Validated Strategic and Tactical Planning Continuous improvement, process implementation, succession planning Proven experience as a people leader. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to lead through ambiguity and change. Support a management philosophy of empowering individuals. Demonstrated ability to lead through others. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of MRP & WMS systems. Familiarity with MSDS for relevant products. Understanding of Six Sigma and Lean principles preferred. Ability to sustain a lean environment. Positive demeanor towards job and colleagues. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain composure in high-paced and stressful situations. Maintain confidentiality. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials. Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $110,500.00$165,700.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
