Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and source Requests for Quotes (RFQs) from internal end users. Negotiate optimal terms with suppliers, including cost, quality specifications, delivery timelines, and other requirements. Communicate RFQ pricing and delivery terms to end users for approval. Manage purchase requests daily within the ERP system timely creating and revising Purchase Orders (POs). Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve PO-related issues. Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and address past-due invoices. Assist the Purchasing Supervisor with PO reconciliation tasks. Support the onboarding of new Operations and Maintenance (O&M) vendors. Maintain and regularly update the O&M vendor contact list. Support EPC team with rental equipment PO creation and management. Perform other duties as assigned. Quality: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing required. Collaborate with account managers, accounts payable, operations, and finance to resolve issues and enhance customer service. Adhere to procurement team KPIs and performance goals. Review and update procurement processes annually, based on business needs. Work closely with suppliers to understand the materials and services being procured by Strata. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or coursework in supply chain management or a related field is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Thrives in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role. Familiarity with ERP systems or purchasing software is required. A good sense of humor is always welcome!
