Manager - Procurement
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing initiatives within our Professional Services categories. This includes procurement for security guards, workers claim, contingent and temporary labor, consulting, contact center, BPO, legal, data analytics, pricing and translation services. The ideal candidate will have extensive procurement experience and a strong understanding of Ariba and/or Coupa (CSO; CLMA) systems. What you'll bring: Stakeholder Influence: Lead and influence senior stakeholders to implement and expand the strategic sourcing program across all Professional Services categories. Conduct complex project analysis, evaluate RFx responses, develop award scenarios, identify outliers, and generate insights for negotiations. Interpreting Spend Analysis: Perform advanced analytics in Excel and/or Power BI to interpret and present data insights. Strategic Development: Develop local and global category strategies, ensuring successful delivery and optimization of programs aligned with Walmart's key strategic imperatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to generate a pipeline of procurement projects. Build Effective RFPs: Support the development of governance and structure for the bid process. Ensure effective use of Ariba and/or Coupa CSO systems within the team, including setting up, configuring, and releasing RFxs with details provided by business stakeholders. Negotiation: Create and validate negotiation scenarios with business stakeholders, driving negotiations to secure favorable terms with suppliers. Contracting: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, collaborating with business stakeholders and the legal team. Ensure effective use of Coupa CLMA systems for contract set up and release. Knowledge of S2P/ P2P Tools: Manage PR to PO requests across various stakeholders ensuring timely execution of requests. You will sweep us off our feet with: 5-8 years of experience in procurement or a related field, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. Proficiency in Ariba and/or Coupa CSO and CLMA systems. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in sourcing Labor and Professional/Corporate service categories Organizational skills, discipline, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
