Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee a large, complex mental health program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program management, mental health systems, and government contracting.
This position is partially remote, based out of Northern Virginia.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the execution and performance of a complex DoD mental health program. Provide strategic leadership and direction for program operations and personnel. Ensure contract compliance, risk management, and adherence to DoD policies and procedures. Lead, supervise, and mentor a multidisciplinary team to meet program goals and deliverables. Serve as the primary point of contact with Defense Health Agency (DHA) and other government stakeholders. Prepare and present reports, briefings, and performance metrics to internal and external leadership. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between clinical, administrative, and support personnel. Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for direct reports. Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes. Required Qualifications:
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent in project management or healthcare. Minimum five (5) years of experience in Project or Program Management within mental health or related leadership roles overseeing multiple supervisees. Master's degree in Mental Health, Healthcare Administration, or a closely related field. Demonstrated knowledge of DoD contracts and contract administration. Proven ability to manage large teams and navigate complex programmatic environments. Experience working with military populations and familiarity with DoD policies and procedures. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with DHA leadership, government officials, and multidisciplinary staff. Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience leading mental health programs within military or government healthcare settings. Familiarity with Defense Health Agency (DHA) systems and reporting requirements. Active or previous security clearance.
