What this job involves We are seeking a highly experienced EHS Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust health, safety, and security environment across our JLL client account. You will lead a regional team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSSE regulations and standards. Additionally, you will drive the development of best practices and manage risk across our multi-site property portfolio. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to safety management. What is your day to day? Implement Global HSSE strategic objectives and ensure operational relevance for the JLL client account. Manage and reduce operational risks by providing guidance and advice on health and safety risk management Provide technical advice on HSSE issues and communicate changes in legislation affecting service delivery and client occupancy Stay up-to-date with relevant current legislation and ensure compliance Identify improvement opportunities and support the account team in implementing cost-effective solutions for HSSE risks Ensure building-related risk assessments are in place in line with legal requirements and client standards Manage incident and accident investigations within the account Establish and maintain an effective account HSSE communication plan Other duties as assigned Desired experience and technical skills Required Minimum 10 years of HSSE management experience within Operational Management systems and corporate clients Appropriate recognized professional HSSE qualifications and memberships Experience in management system development, implementation, and auditing Deep understanding of HSSE regulatory environment in major markets Experience in implementing HSSE technology platforms and data management tools across multiple countries and regions Experience in managing a large, multicultural team Practical working knowledge of tools and techniques in a real estate environment and risk management across a complex multi-site property portfolio Significant experience in problem-solving HSSE issues in a dynamic and diverse environment, implementing risk control systems and processes Agile approach to leadership and stakeholder management in a matrix structure Strong goal orientation and ability to deliver measurable results Excellent communication skills to coach and educate at all levels of the account Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Preferred Bachelor's Degree Knowledge and understanding of internationally recognized HSSE management systems G-Suite proficiency is preferred Location: Remote New York, NY, South San Francisco, CA If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
