We are seeking a Paralegal to support the U.S. Legal team in managing a diverse portfolio of contractual, and regulatory matters in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, FL or Atlanta, GA. The Paralegal will be an internal part of the Legal team and must adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards. The ideal candidate will assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, maintaining claim records, supporting litigation, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsel. How will you contribute to the team? Draft, edit, and organize legal documents, including payment demand letters, claims responses and other legal correspondence. Conduct legal and regulatory research on government contracts law, agency regulations, and to support corporate compliance. Assist attorneys to put together training materials and presentations for internal clients. Assist attorneys and liaise with outside counsel in preparing and responding to discovery requests, subpoenas, and litigation holds. Gather documentation to assist with claims management and insurance reporting. Manage responses to public information requests. Support due diligence efforts in connection with RFPs and Contracts. Maintain claim and litigation databases (e.g., the HIVE, iManage, etc.) in accordance with internal governance requirements. Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders on pre-claim disputes and other legal matters. Monitor deadlines, and deliverables related to contracts, litigation, and other filings as needed. Participate in process improvements and digital transformation initiatives within the legal department. What will you contribute? Associates or Bachelor's degree preferably in Paralegal Studies or related field and a minimum of 4 years Paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate/commercial in-house or law firm setting. With High School Diploma, must have a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or a minimum of 10 years requisite experience. Advanced Paralegal certification a plus. Strong knowledge of legal terminology. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Detail oriented and strong analytical skills. Ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines. Claim/litigation database management. Advance skills in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite to assist with presentations, reports and legal documents. Experience in the engineering, construction, architecture or project management sectors preferred. Relevant experience in corporate in-house or construction law firm. High level of independence, with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Collaborative and fun attitude
