The Senior HR Analyst is responsible for using data to drive strategic decision-making within an organization, particularly in areas related to the workforce. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can improve various HR processes and overall business outcomes. May include: • Develop and maintain data and analytic solutions including dashboards, tools, spreadsheets, decks to ensure people related data is accessible to HRBPs, as needed • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support HR initiatives and business decision-making • Ensure data integrity by monitoring data flow, evaluating data quality, and addressing data discrepancies • Partner with HRBPs and leadership to provide data-driven recommendations on organizational design, talent development, and workforce planning • Gather and analyze data from various sources, including HR systems, surveys, and other relevant databases, to understand workforce trends, employee engagement, performance, and other key metrics • Help improve the integrity and quality of people data by auditing sources and streamlining data collection processes • Develop actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve HR processes and business outcomes • Communicate complex data findings in a clear and compelling way to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ensure that HR analytics efforts are aligned with organizational goals and objectives, contributing to strategic decision-making • Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, including HR leadership and other business leaders • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and IT, to integrate data solutions and improve business processes • Lead high profile initiatives and provide recommendations to key business leaders that will impact various human capital components such as culture, retention, learning, engagement, inclusion, and diversity • Provide process improvement consultation as potential efficiencies are encountered during projects • Communicate statistical analyses and results, the people and business implications, to technical and non-technical audiences • Conduct analysis, not just reporting on what happened but also why, utilizing human capital and other data to enable better business decisions • Performs audits of data, data cleansing and identify trends • Performs additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs Nature & Scope: • Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience • Encouraged to seek continuous improvements • Performs a range of mainly straightforward assignments • Works independently with general supervision • Problems faced are difficult but not typically complex Knowledge & Skills: • Understands fundamental HR concepts, benefits, practices and procedures • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, work collaboratively with teams and as an individual contributor • Understand business objectives and prioritize and structure deep analytics that deliver insights which inform and shape people decisions such as, but not limited to, acquisition and development, employee engagement, attrition and productivity • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook; in Excel -including data entry, pivot tables, V-look up, importing / extracting data • Familiar with HRIS and payroll systems (data entry, import/exporting data, generating reports, etc.) • Excellent organizational and time management skills to efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality • Strong verbal and written communication skills including business acumen • Proven high quality customer service skills • Strong interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with employees and management • Ability to coach employees and management through difficult issues • Understands employment law and government compliance requirements • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience: • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; preferably in a large-scale company with multiple locations/states • Minimum of 2 years of experience with analyzing data, identifying trends and problem solving Education/Certification: • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, or a related field People Management: No Physical Requirements / Work Environment: • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Reports To: Manager, HR Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
