Job DescriptionWe're partnering with a fantastic client in search of a skilled CNC Machinist II to join their team an 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, quality-focused machinist who's ready to work in a clean, well-organized, and fast-paced production environment. The CNC Machinist II will set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality and safety standards, and the ability to perform minor machine adjustments. You'll also be expected to support continuous improvement efforts and maintain accurate production records.Location: Wilmington, MAEmployment Type: Direct HireShift: 2nd Shift - Four 10-hour nights, Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 1:00am Pay: $22-$35/hrBenefits: Competitive benefits available upon hireKey Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines based on blueprints and instructionsMake tooling changes and offset adjustments for wear or material differencesPerform advanced machining with close tolerancesUse precision measurement tools to inspect parts for qualityComplete job documentation accurately (job cards, tracking systems)Perform basic maintenance and keep machines in good working orderFollow all safety and manufacturing guidelines, including GMP and GDPMaintain clean and organized work areas (5S)Participate in problem-solving and improvement initiativesMeet production and quality targetsQualifications:High school diploma or GED required3+ years of CNC machining experienceStrong blueprint reading and measurement tool skillsSolid math, communication, and computer skillsAble to follow written and verbal instructionsDependable, team-oriented, and safety-consciousPreferred:Certificate or degree in machining or a related fieldExperience in a production/manufacturing settingAdditional Requirements:U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status requiredAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
