Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
Position Overview:
A healthcare facility in Spokane Valley is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide support across both front and back office operations. This includes greeting and rooming patients, scheduling, managing phone calls, and performing a variety of clinical tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients in a professional and welcoming manner
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and administer vaccines
• Conduct EKGs and perform point-of-care (POC) testing
• Manage scheduling and handle incoming phone calls
• Assist in maintaining patient records using an EMR system
• Support both clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient operations
• Promote a supportive, educational atmosphere for patient outreach and engagement

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (excluding externship)
• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Occupational Health experience is a strong advantage
• Proficiency with phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required
• Experience with Athena EMR is highly desired
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and solid computer skills
• Enthusiastic about working in a setting where patient education and health outreach are key priorities
