The ideal candidate will assist with rooming patients, taking vitals, performing phlebotomy, managing administrative tasks, and contributing to a patient-centered care environment. - Monday to Thursday: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Friday: 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Medical Assistant to support daily clinical operations in both front and back-office settings. The ideal candidate will assist with rooming patients, taking vitals, performing phlebotomy, managing administrative tasks, and contributing to a patient-centered care environment. A collaborative and flexible mindset is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and room patients efficiently and professionally
- Perform front-office administrative duties, including answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Take and record vital signs
- Perform venipuncture/phlebotomy and administer vaccines
- Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
- Update and manage patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Ensure clean and organized exam rooms and support clinical staff as needed
- Maintain a supportive and team-focused approach within the clinic
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant (excluding externship)
- Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
- Occupational Health experience is a strong plus
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR proficiency required
- BLS or CPR certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and adaptability in a clinical environment
- Passion for health education and delivering patient-focused care
