Job Description
The key responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer include, but are not limited to:
  • Driving improvements in business performance through the application of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Working hands-on with investment casting and ensuring that processes are running smoothly on the manufacturing floor
  • Supporting and enhancing process safety
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize component designs, manufacturing processes, tooling, gauging, and quality plans
  • Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing as needed

The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in investment casting process development, manufacturing, or related field
  • Proficiency with statistical quality tools such as PFMEA and Kaizen
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and excellent communication abilities
  • CAD software experience
  • Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis
