Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer with ten or more years of experience performing electrical engineering and design of LNG, Energy Transition, Carbon Capture, Refining and/or Petrochemical plants.
Responsibilites:

- n
- Lead and/or support a Team of Electrical Engineers and Electrical Designers on PDP, Pre-FEED, FEED and Detail Engineering Projects n
- Develops project scope of work for electrical engineering and design n
- Monitors and advises Department Manager of major project changes n
- Prepares detail design schedule milestones, staff loading schedules and man-hour estimates for engineering and
design tasks n - Reports progress, updates schedules, manages staffing needs and hourly budget n
- Establishes engineering and design concepts and data for scope assigned to group and assures technical accuracy and conformance to project requirements n
- Prepares project scope deviations documentation as required n
- Researches suitable solutions, estimated cost and timescales n
- Trains less experienced engineers n
- Reviews vendor documents n
- Independently evaluates the selection and/or modification of standard techniques, procedures, criteria and systems to efficiently meet project objectives n
- Applies standard engineering design tasks and exhibits a working knowledge of applicable codes n
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates detailed phases of work n
- Reviews and generates design data and/or deliverables from various inputs n
- Performs the more sophisticated and complicated designs in accordance with established company standards n
- Coordinates details and miscellaneous design criteria with other disciplines n
- Supervises, checks and assists other electrical personnel in their assignments n
- Prepares and /or supervises and checks documents and drawings as required n
- Manages all Electrical personnel on the team including Workshare Office staff n
- Manages all Electrical design deliverables on the project, including electrical power studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting, protective relay coordination studies, etc.), electrical area classification drawings, one-lines, schematics and wiring design; lighting, power, grounding, and cable tray plan drawings, and specification of electrical equipment such as Motor Control Centers and Switchgear in Petrochemical Plants. n
Qualifications:

- n
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering n
- Effective writing and verbal communication skills n
- Ability to obtain an Engineer-In-Training Certificate or currently an Engineer-In-Training is n
- Professional Engineer License and the ability to register in multiple states is n
Desired Experience:

- n
- Ten or more years of experience performing electrical engineering and design of LNG, Energy Transition, Carbon Capture, Refining and/or Petrochemical plants. n
- Project lead experience. n
