BreakPoint Labs is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Site Lead) to join our team at Fort Meade, MD. This role requires an in-depth technical understanding of Red Team tool development and development workflows, with a focus on infrastructure, operations, and capability enhancement/extension. This position will be critical in leading on-site efforts, contributing directly to the advancement of Red Team capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

n
• Lead and manage on-site technical operations related to Red Team tool development
n
• Contribute to the design and development of new/existing Red Team capabilities
n
• Oversee and optimize Red Team development workflows
n
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate red team capabilities with operations
n
• Ensure that developed capabilities comply with operational requirements and goals
n
• Occasional Travel up to 20%
n

Required Experience:

n
• Extensive experience supporting Red Team tool and/or exploit development
n
• Extensive experience with developing tools in multiple programming (C, C++, Assembly, Rust, etc.)
n
• Experience with reverse engineering or source code analysis to support tool/exploit development
n
• Experience with development workflows and processes
n
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
• Excellent communication skills
n
• Experience with USMC is but not required
n

Certifications Required: Security+ Continuing Education (CE) (CompTIA) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (EC-Council)

Security Clearance Required: Top Secret / SCI

Education Level requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in the following Area(s) of Study; Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology
