We look forward to meeting you!Benefits:Excellent PayHealth, Dental, Vision InsurancePTOExcellent Company CultureTrue Opportunity for GrowthResponsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):Responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residentsand to:coordinate total nursing care for residents;implement specific procedures andprogramsparticipate with the Director of Nursing Services and the Nurse Manager inestablishing specific goalsdetermine work procedures and expediting work flowcomply with all operating policies and procedures, state requirements, Department ofHealth regulations, and Federal Health Care Administration regulationscommunicate with and supervise appropriate personnelprovide daily reports and other periodic reportsperform other appropriate nursing duties as needed.Essential Duties of the ADON:Provide care and services in a safe and efficient mannerEnsure quality performance and conformance with regulation and lawsParticipate in state/federal nursing home survey processWrite resultant plan of corrections and ensure they are carried outParticipate in the QA/CQI processLeads the center's Infection Control processPerforms/assigns completion of preadmission assessments on a timely basisProvides care as defined within the scope of the state's nurse practice act.Prepares clinical and progress notes and summaries of care.Supervises, educates and coaches other nursing personnel/care-giving staff.Plans and implements in-service and training programs.Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing. Shares information with appropriate organization personnel.Requirements: Must be a RNMinimum Experience: 1 year Salary: Competitive+Benefits
