CTG is seeking to fill a Systems Analyst 3 position for our client in Austin, TX.
Location:
Austin, TX (Hybrid Remote)
Duties: Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies, and conducts cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processes or improve existing computer systems. Confers with personnel to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and determine specific input and output requirements, including data input formats, data summarization, and report layouts. Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested changes. Designs, develops, and implements data integration hub solutions using agile methodology. Acquires and integrates data from multiple sources, developing complex SQL scripts for dimensional models and database views. Automates ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center to extract, transform, and load data. Validates and verifies SQL scripts, automation workflows, and database views. Develops automated verification and validation methods. Collaborates with data engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders to design optimal data acquisition strategies. Enhances and maintains Java websites delivering Tableau dashboards to diverse user roles. Develops mockups, validates with customers, and produces/maintains technical specifications and diagrams. Participates in sprint ceremonies, requirement sessions, and design discussions. Assists with tool implementation/configuration, technical problem resolution, and enhancement requests. Skills:
Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center ETL development SQL scripting (Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server) Data acquisition/integration from diverse sources (Excel, Access, Adobe PDF, etc.) Python programming Tableau dashboard/report development Agile/Scrum methodology with JIRA Technical writing and diagramming (Visio, Erwin, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project) Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, APIs, REST, SOAP) Security principles, especially related to healthcare data Experience:
8+ years developing ETL mappings/workflows in Informatica 8+ years integrating data from multiple sources for Tableau 8+ years designing complex SQL scripts 8+ years as a systems analyst for data analytics, performance management, or data warehousing projects 8+ years of technical documentation and diagramming experience 8+ years in planning/delivering software platforms across multiple organizational units 8+ years Python programming experience 8+ years on agile sprint teams with JIRA Preferred: Healthcare industry experience, prior work with PII/PHI data, and HHS agency experience Preferred: Tableau dashboard/report development with external data sources Preferred: Understanding of security principles and experience with web applications/services Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business, or equivalent experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
