As an IT Business Systems Analyst IV (Measurement) for Power Innovation IT you will act as a liaison between IT and the business to ensure an understanding of business requirements when crafting and implementing new IT systems and improving existing systems. You will interact with others and resolve issues with IT support teams. We appreciate your new perspective on solutions for our ever-evolving IT needs!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
Acts as liaison between the IT Power Innovation IT group and business units for the design and implementation of new systems and improvement of existing systems
Serves as subject matter specialist and business partner between IT and business/end-user team(s)
Creates annual budget analysis and cost management for responsible application including projects, ongoing maintenance, support and licensing
Translates business requirements into technical specifications to formulate technical solutions that conform to operational standards
Conducts requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and provides recommendations based on collected information
Ensures the maintenance, development and enhancement of application systems meet the organizational business objectives and IT standards
Remediates application system issues through appropriate troubleshooting, incident, change and problem management standards
Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives
Identifies continuous improvement opportunities for cost reduction, avoidance and improved application performance
Collaborates with assigned resources to manage project-related activities for assigned applications
Prepares recurring application dashboard metrics and reports to show analysis on specific key data points and provides cost transparency for applications, as requested

Education/Years of Experience:
Required: High school diploma or GED and a minimum fifteen (15) years' IT experience, OR Associate's degree and a minimum ten (10) years' IT experience, OR Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years' IT experience
Other Requirements:
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Utilizes project management skills with a focus on managing small to medium-sized projects
Strong analytical thinking skills and is a self-starter
Acts as liaison to third-party vendor support teams
Serves as subject matter expert and business partner between IT Application and Infrastructure team(s) and business/end-user team(s)
Preferred: Experience working in Power Generation or related industries and knowledge of industry best practices for measurement
Preferred: Strong SQL and Oracle database skills
Preferred: Experience building and supporting integrations of third-party and internal applications
