Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN with at least two years of experience, required certifications, and night shift availability.Job Details•Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit,•Care for both low and high risk pregnancies including VBACs, primary and repeat cesareans, PIH, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, IDDM, and multiple gestations,•Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2,•Night shift position, working 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30,•Required to work every third weekend,•Floating required to Mother Baby unit, mother assignments only,•Utilizes EPIC and Centricity EMR systems; experience with these is preferred,Job Requirements•Active RN license (NJ or Compact) required at the time of consideration,•Minimum two years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required,•BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner certifications required,•AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced certification preferred,•Experience with electronic charting systems EPIC and Centricity preferred,•Must not have been employed by the specified health system in the past year (RWJBH),•Open or active background/license hits will not be accepted,Additional Information•Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients from admission to delivery,•Assigned diagnoses include a variety of obstetric conditions, requiring flexibility and advanced clinical skills,•Training includes 4 hours of EPIC and up to 18 hours of other required modules, completed pre-start and annually,•Dark blue scrubs required for this assignment,•First-time travelers are welcome to apply,•All time-off requests must be submitted and approved before contract; no changes allowed after assignment begins,•Holiday coverage according to schedule policy,•References and disclosure of international work or residency history required,•Locals are accepted for this position at the same rate,),•hash,:•5439384636628790507,
