Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position with night shifts, requiring prior travel and telemetry experience.Job Details•Work in a large hospital setting as part of the nursing float pool,•Care for acute care patients on Med/Surg and Telemetry units,•Patient ratio averages 1:7,•495 bed facility with at least 30 beds per unit,•Required to float between Med/Surg and Tele units and potentially other units as assigned,•Uses the Epic EMR system; experience required,•Night shifts with 12-hour schedule from 6:45 pm - 7:15 am, three shifts per week,•Every other weekend and some holiday shifts required,•On-call responsibilities are not required,Job Requirements•Active VA or Compact State RN license,•Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications and NIHSS certification,•At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience,•Must have completed 2-3 previous travel assignments of at least 13 weeks each,•Minimum of 1 year telemetry/med-surg experience,•EMR experience with Epic required,•No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,•Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible,•Must provide US SSN for employment eligibility,Additional Information•Responsibilities include providing nursing care for acute care Med/Surg and Telemetry patients across different units,•Designated as a Level II Trauma Center,•Hospital has received an 'A' grade in patient safety for nine consecutive years,•Navy blue scrubs are required per dress code,•Holiday time off requests may be submitted for one holiday only and up to two days,•Block scheduling is not available,•First-time travelers will not be considered,),•hash,:•5429547949740145531,
