Job Description & Requirements

* Shift: 12 hours, nights
* Employment Type: Travel
Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Travel Contract
Facility: Cape Fear Valley Medical Center
Location: Fayetteville, NC (1638 Owen Dr)
Unit: Labor & Delivery
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: August 25, 2025
Shift Requirements:
* Night shift (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:00)
* Every other weekend requirement
* Must be willing to float within scope
Minimum Qualifications:
* 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience (first-time travelers accepted)
* Active RN license (compact or North Carolina)
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Certifications: BLS required (NRP preferred)
* Must live >50 miles from facility
Unit Details:
* High-volume L&D unit
* Scrub colors provided by facility
* Charting system: EPIC
* Patient ratio information not specified
* Common procedures:
* Labor management
* Cesarean section support
* Postpartum care
* Newborn stabilization
