ITA is seeking a Journeyman Software Developer to join our team remotely in the National Capital Region. Please note this position is contingent upon successful contract award expected Spring 2025. Responsibilities Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for government and commercial projects. Create, optimize, and manage software baselines to ensure system integrity, performance, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust solutions. Design technical solutions supporting rapid software development in areas like supply chain analysis and process improvements. Create baseline software and databases. Work with stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions. Modify and enhance existing software and databases. Perform unit testing and peer reviews. Troubleshoot and correct code defects. Participate in Agile processes and follow government standards (FISMA, NIST, CMMI). Maintain software deployment pipelines. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 3-10 years of relevant software development experience. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI. Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security clearance.
