Apply locations Remote (India) time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id R011110 SailPoint is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to drive the development of cutting-edge AI applications that harness Large Language Models (LLMs) and multi-agent systems for internal use. In this pivotal role, you will design, build, and optimize AI-driven solutions, helping transform the way we leverage data and intelligence across the business. Youll work as part of our larger IT Data Engineering team and take ownership of the entire data lifecyclefrom ingestion pipelines to production-grade AI application deployments. Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and services to support AI/LLM applications. Design, develop, and deploy multi-agent Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems in cloud environments. Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions. Tune and optimize LLM-based tools and workflows for internal productivity and insight generation. Ensure robust monitoring, testing, and CI/CD practices are applied across the data and AI stack. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 46 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a strong foundation in AI/ML pipelines. Proven success in building and deploying LLM-powered solutions in production environments. Experience designing and developing agentic and RAG architectures in the cloud. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Vertex AI , Gemini , and BigQuery is a strong plus. Skilled in managing AI model lifecycle, from experimentation to monitoring in production. Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines and automated monitoring for data/ML systems. Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
