As a Senior Software Development Engineer on our team, you will: Collaborate with teams across the globe to create robust, scalable, and extensible solutions that meet diverse business goals. Drive the design, development, and improvement of ad-serving systems through hands-on programming and leadership of your peers. Invent and implement initiatives aimed at simplifying our systems, reducing costs, and enhancing reliability. The ideal candidate will possess: At least 6 years of professional software development experience. A minimum of 5 years of programming experience in at least one software language. Experience leading the design or architecture of systems, with a focus on reliability and scalability. In-depth knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing. Experience mentoring or leading a technical team. Preferred qualifications include: 5+ years of programming experience with modern languages such as Java, C++, or C#. Experience delivering complex software systems successfully to customers. A proven track record of building high-performance, highly-available, and scalable distributed systems in a UNIX environment. Our team values communication and collaboration at all levels. You'll need to understand customer needs, translate them into technical specifications, and effectively manage project escalations while balancing business and technical challenges. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300 to $261,500 per year, depending on geographic location in the U.S., alongside a comprehensive total compensation package, which may include equity options and a variety of benefits.
