The Dean will oversee the Workforce Development site, supervise nursing program activities, assist with special projects, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include advocating for faculty and students, maintaining program policies, and managing supplies and equipment. Candidates must hold a current California Registered Nursing License or equivalent. A master’s degree in nursing, education, or administration is required, alongside a minimum of one year of teaching in nursing programs and one year of direct patient care as a registered nurse. The ideal candidate will showcase strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to diversity. Collaborative skills and proficiency in technology are essential, along with experience in supervision, planning, and budget preparation. The Dean will actively engage in faculty and student activities, lead faculty meetings, and ensure all students meet graduation and licensing requirements.
