As a Software Development Engineer in the Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) team, you will join our mission to make AWS the premier platform for running containers. We're constructing a core set of services that empower our customers to efficiently create and utilize Kubernetes at scale.

Your responsibilities will include:
Working on upstream Kubernetes to push scaling boundaries.
Tackling complex technical challenges, often unprecedented, alongside exceptionally skilled peers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience with systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
Proficiency in at least one programming language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, from coding standards to operations.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience contributing to Open Source Kubernetes.

This position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on geographic location, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, comprehensive benefits and potential equity or sign-on payments may be included.
