Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a high-impact project focused on building a custom software platform to manage and optimize energy storage infrastructure. This role involves the development and integration of both cloud-based and on-site systems that interact with advanced power systems and optimization engines. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain both on-premise and cloud-based control and monitoring software for energy storage facilities. Implement industrial communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC) to enable seamless data flow between hardware controllers and remote services. Create modern, responsive web interfaces for real-time system visualization and user interaction. Develop APIs and data integration layers to facilitate communication between on-site controllers, cloud platforms, and external market or scheduling systems. Integrate third-party optimization solutions using frameworks such as CPLEX and GAMS. Ensure robustness, scalability, and high availability of the software systems. Conduct regular testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain high-quality development standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to drive project success. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in full stack development. Solid back-end experience using Node.js, Python, and SQL-based databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Hands-on experience working with Linux-based environments and embedded or industrial systems. Familiarity with machine-to-cloud communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC). Proven experience building and integrating RESTful APIs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment. Nice to Have: Previous work on energy systems, SCADA, or grid-related software. Experience with optimization libraries and modeling languages (e.g., GAMS, CPLEX). Knowledge of industrial protocols such as DNP3 or other utility communication standards.
