In your role as Sr. DevOps Engineer at Kohler Ventures, you will: Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering teams, and product teams. Design scalable cloud backend architecture to support business growth. Lead efforts to understand and drive hardware/software requirements. Improve code normalization across critical codebases. Skills/Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Over 5 years of experience orchestrating cloud tasks with AWS and CDK. Strong advocate of DevOps processes, collaboration, monitoring automation, and continuous improvement. Hands-on experience with AWS services including networking, security, hosting, scripting infrastructure as code, and maintaining high availability and performance (Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Github Actions). Availability to work outside standard hours to collaborate across time zones. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kafka or Solace for data streaming platforms. Knowledge of API Descriptor specifications like Protocol Buffers, GraphQL, OpenAPI. Experience in cloud security architecture. Strong communication skills for technical and management information. We will consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
