A growing IT services provider, focused on long-term partnerships and industry-leading support, is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Network Engineer to join its expanding technical team. In this role, the individual will work closely with experienced engineers to learn the fundamentals of network design, security, wireless technologies, and cloud-based networking. Responsibilities: Assist senior network engineers with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless equipment. Learn how to configure and monitor network security tools and firewalls under guidance. Help with the setup, deployment, and troubleshooting of wireless networks, using Aruba and Meraki devices. Gain hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, assisting with basic network configurations and cloud integrations. Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting network performance, identifying issues such as downtime, slow speeds, or connectivity problems. Contribute to maintaining network documentation, including configurations and diagrams. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to learn about best practices in network design and security. Support the IT team in routine network maintenance and upgrades to improve network performance and reliability. Work on smaller network tasks and projects to help build foundational networking skills. Skills/Must have: A strong interest in learning about networking technologies and a passion for IT. Basic understanding of computer networks and network protocols (such as IP addresses, DHCP, DNS, etc.). Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to ask questions and learn. Strong desire to gain hands-on experience with network security, wireless technologies, and cloud platforms. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
