Summary: In this role, you will collaborate with Datacenter and Cloud Operations teams to support middleware platforms and applications across on-premises and cloud environments. Additionally, you will assist with automation and monitoring to enhance middleware performance and reliability. You must have attention to detail, be task-oriented, and accountable. Responsibilities: Provide support for Java and .NET web applications hosted on IIS, Apache HTTPD, and Apache Tomcat. Assist in configuring, deploying, and maintaining middleware components in containerized environments using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes. Monitor web application performance and availability and perform root cause analysis for issues in hosted environments. Collaborate with developers to support application deployment pipelines across traditional and containerized infrastructures. Perform basic configuration and tuning of web servers and application servers to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot HTTP/S connectivity issues, load balancer configurations, and application startup failures. Assist with building and maintaining Docker images and deployment manifests for applications running in Kubernetes or VMware Tanzu environments. Implement and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks such as container restarts, log rotation, and system health checks. Participate in patching and upgrading cycles for web and application servers, ensuring minimal service disruption. Document system configurations, deployment procedures, and support playbooks for internal knowledge sharing. Qualifications: 2 or more years of relevant experience in software development required. Qualifications: Relevant degree preferred. 2 or more years of relevant experience in software development required. Web Application Support (Java, .NET, IIS, Apache HTTPD/Tomcat) required. Containerization Support (Docker, VMware Tanzu, Podman, Kubernetes) required. Application Runtime Environment Support (Java JRE, Apache Tomcat, MS BizTalk, Python) required. You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
