The Amazon Devices and Services team is at the forefront of designing and engineering innovative consumer experiences with high-profile devices, including the bestselling Kindle family, Amazon Echo, Fire tablets, Amazon Fire TV, and more. We are looking for a passionate software development engineer to help us secure customer experiences and data.
Your Role:
Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain large-scale, distributed solutions that enhance security for web applications and services on Amazon devices.
Lead the development of major security tools and infrastructure, defining roadmaps and delivering key projects from the ground up.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to transform visionary concepts into actionable technical solutions.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering their career growth.
Track and report performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure timely execution of goals.
Work in an agile environment, focusing on best practices in code quality and system performance.
What We’re Looking For:
7+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in at least one programming language.
5+ years of experience in system design or architecture, focusing on reliability and scalability.
Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers.
Master's degree in computer science or related field is preferred.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300 to $261,500 annually, depending on the geographic market and individual experience. Total compensation may also include equity and sign-on payments, along with comprehensive benefits.
