Position Summary: AZEK is seeking an accomplished Salesforce Architect to lead the enterprise-level architecture, strategy, and governance of our Salesforce ecosystem. This role will drive digital transformation initiatives in support of our B2B and B2C channels, partner relationships, and sustainable growth strategy. As a technical leader, you will work cross-functionally to design and implement advanced Salesforce capabilities and ensure the platform supports current and future business objectives, including AI readiness and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise in Salesforce architecture. This role sits in the IT organization reporting to the Senior Director, Solutions Management (Sales & Marketing). Your Primary Duties And Responsibilities Will Be Architecture Strategy and Solution Design Serve as the principal architect and technical authority on Salesforce platform capabilities (ex: Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, integrations). Design multi-cloud Salesforce solutions that incorporate complex data modeling, multi-org strategy, custom development, and third-party integrations. Translate business objectives into highly scalable and maintainable platform designs aligned with AZEK's core values and digital priorities. Ensure the Salesforce ecosystem is structured to support AI use cases, including unified data models, governance, pipelines, and scalable APIs. Platform Governance and Optimization Establish and enforce platform architecture standards, security controls, and data governance policies. Design and implement operation and review procedures to maintain compliance with IT General Controls in the areas of Security, Operations and Change Management. Evaluate and integrate Salesforce AppExchange solutions, custom applications, and middleware platforms to support business workflows across sales, marketing, supply chain, and customer service. Partner with business partners and IT leadership to define and maintain the roadmap and technical milestones for ongoing Salesforce expansion. Development Oversight and Technical Leadership Lead internal and external development teams in the delivery of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), declarative automation, and CI/CD pipelines. Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, performance benchmarks, and secure coding standards. Mentor Salesforce developers, administrators, and junior architects through knowledge-sharing, technical oversight, and skills development. Lead critical Salesforce incidents and escalations, including those requiring senior leadership visibility. Integration and Data Architecture Design and oversee the implementation of integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, PIM, marketing automation, web platforms, ecommerce, customer portals, and analytics platforms). Champion best practices in data synchronization, identity management, privacy and security, and master data governance within Salesforce and its connected systems. We Believe The Successful Candidate Will Have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field. Minimum 7 years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3 years in an enterprise architecture capacity. Deep expertise in Salesforce Platform architecture, including: Apex, SOQL, LWC, Visualforce REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integration patterns Salesforce Shield, Single Sign-On (SSO), and platform encryption Proven experience implementing Salesforce in a manufacturing, construction, or distribution environment. Demonstrated ability to manage Salesforce in a multi-org or hybrid cloud environment. Certifications Required Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Salesforce Certified Integration Architect (highly desirable) Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology discipline. As with all positions at AZEK, a satisfactory combination of education and professional experience will be considered. Familiarity with Building Products, Manufacturing and multi-step distribution business models. Depth in understanding consumer journeys Strong leadership skills with team player attributes Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with competing and changing priorities. Strong communication skills verbal and written with open and direct communication style. Core Competencies Action Orientation Drive for Results Business Acumen Problem Solving Vendor Management Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The annual salary for this role is $175,000 to $190,000. In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.
