We are on the lookout for an innovative Software Development Engineer who is eager to make a substantial impact. As a member of our team, you will: Develop full-stack technology and services that support millions of users at Amazon scale. Create delightful user experiences leveraging Android, Alexa technologies, cloud services, along with frontend and backend technologies. Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to define and implement unique customer experiences and product direction. Deliver high-quality software in a dynamic, team-oriented Agile/Scrum environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills, a solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, and familiarity with the entire software stack. Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of experience in designing and architecting both new and existing systems. Proficient in at least one programming language. 3+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle, including standards for coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Our compensation reflects the labor cost across various US geographic markets, with a base pay range from $129,300/year in the lowest market to $223,600/year in the highest market, based on factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, Amazon offers equity, sign-on payments, and other compensation forms as part of a comprehensive benefits package.
