Join us as an AWS Dedicated Cloud Engineer
and take on the challenge of implementing innovative cloud computing solutions to solve complex technical problems. This role is an exciting opportunity to leverage the latest cloud technologies for U.S. Government agencies, particularly within the U.S. Intelligence Community. As part of our specialized team, you'll contribute to building some of the largest and most intricate distributed systems in the world. The AWS Commerce Platform plays a crucial role by providing the infrastructure and services necessary for AWS teams to effectively sell their offerings, manage customer insights, and process billing based on usage. Key Responsibilities: Focus on operational excellence while troubleshooting complex system operations. Provide exceptional customer experiences by simplifying complex problems. Break down defined projects into manageable milestones and feedback mechanisms. Investigate systemic patterns of operational concerns and provide timely resolutions. Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to innovate and automate operational processes. A Day in the Life: In this role, you’ll dive deep to discover root causes of customer issues, delve into metric trends, and propose innovative solutions to automate operational tasks. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, or certifications such as A+, CND, Network+, or Security. 1+ years of experience managing a 24x7 production environment. 1+ years of operating systems administration experience. 1+ years of experience with production support procedures. Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large, high-throughput distributed systems. Background in service-oriented architecture and web services. Proficient in Systems Administration in a Linux/Unix environment. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
