Senior Software Development Engineer, AWS QuickSight SPICE Team

In this exciting role, you will focus on enhancing QuickSight SPICE, our powerful analytical engine that delivers rapid insights to our customers. Your work will involve creating robust components across our query engine, semantic layer, and distributed systems. Your Contributions Will Include: Designing and developing low-latency, data-intensive systems, specifically database query engines. Optimizing algorithms and system performance for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Architecting scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems. Leading a small team to deliver impactful features while mentoring fellow engineers. Fostering an inclusive and productive technical culture that drives team growth. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of professional software development experience. 5+ years of experience in at least one programming language. 5+ years of expertise in designing and architecting new and existing systems. Proven experience as a mentor or tech lead. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
