Duties You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT PROGRAM MANAGER (INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT of the U.S. NAVAL OBSERVATORY located in WASHINGTON, D.C. You will serve as the Division Chief of the Information Technology Specialist division of the N6 Department supervising Computer Scientists and Specialists , ranging in grade from GS-11 through GS-13 . You will assign, supervise, and approve work efforts within the branch. This includes projecting long-range work plans and schedules. You will establish goals and objectives of programs within the branch and set priorities and schedules for completion of assignments, often in the face of shifting schedules, changing priorities, and regulatory requirements. You will recommend selection, evaluate performance, recommend promotions, awards, bonuses, and reassignments of subordinates. Requirements Must be a US Citizen . The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer will be rescinded if you fail to report or fail the test. You are subject to random testing .
