Job Title: IT Systems Administrator Location: On-site in Stateline, NV + Remote (Hybrid) Type: Part-Time Contract | Approx. 20 hours a week approximately 14 hours on site Working Hours: Flexible, Pacific Time Zone

Role Summary We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support core infrastructure and business systems for a public sector transportation agency in the Tahoe region. This role will ensure smooth operations of the agency’s network, servers, backups, user access, and Microsoft-based applications, while providing proactive support and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Maintain on-premises and cloud-based servers, backups, and patching Configure and monitor LAN, VoIP, VPN, and email systems Administer user access, security, and Microsoft 365 tools Support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Maintain network equipment (switches, firewalls, cabling) Collaborate with vendors and third-party contractors Provide remote and on-site IT support per the agency's schedule Required Qualifications

5+ years in IT systems administration or infrastructure support Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and server environments Familiarity with cloud file storage and Dynamics 365 Ability to work on-site 2 days per week in Stateline, NV Comfortable with public sector documentation and compliance Preferred Certifications

CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Admin, or Azure Fundamentals Pay Range $50–$70/hr depending on experience
