Join the EU 3P (MFN) Acceleration Team as a Software Development Engineer and help shape the success of our EU Sellers utilizing the MFN (Merchant Fulfillment) Network. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the selling experience for Amazon sellers, driving significant initiatives that streamline every step of their journey. Your work will have a meaningful impact on one of Amazon's fastest-growing businesses, where over half of all items sold come from third-party Sellers. You will leverage cutting-edge technologies to build robust distributed systems for sellers worldwide. We foster an entrepreneurial culture that encourages innovation and technical excellence. As a key member of our team, you will: Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, test-driven code that meets scalability and maintainability requirements. Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including system architecture and improvements. Engage in code and design reviews to ensure quality. Collaborate with peers across Amazon to build and scale services effectively. Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in design or architecture (reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C# with a strong focus on object-oriented design. 1+ years of experience contributing to system architecture and design. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5+ years of software development experience in the industry. Experience developing large-scale distributed systems. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with technologies like Python, JavaScript, AJAX, XML/XSLT, REST, SQL, and web services. Competence in developing large-scale multi-tiered distributed systems. Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts. Experience in a Linux development environment.
