IT Support Specialist I
Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $70k - $80k. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching. In this Role you will engage in the following: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on MacBooks, PC's, phones, and tablets as well as their peripherals. This will be performed onsite with both in person and remote users via phone, text messaging, chat, Zoom, etc. Configuring devices for new hires and either shipping them out or setting them up at their onsite desk. Installing and configuring multiple software applications like Office 365, Google Drive, Zoom, endpoint protection, printers. Maintaining hardware and replacing basic parts like batteries, hard drives, graphics cards. Resolving basic networking issues like printing and scanning issues. Essential Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in IT troubleshooting and supporting computer, networking, and mobile devices. College degree required / Certifications: A+, MCP, is beneficial. Technical Skills: PC/Mac/Linux, iOS, Android, Google Workspace, O365, and other various applications. Knowledge and experience in computer cabling, WLAN, Antivirus, Mobile Devices, Email, Video Conferencing, basic networking, and server support. Physical requirements: the ability to lift, carry, or move light hardware, up to 35 lbs. for delivery and installation purposes. Will also need to transport equipment and travel to multiple buildings in the campus area to provide support.
