Manager - Enterprise and Data Analytics (Epic experience required)

Position Summary
The Manager, Enterprise Data and Analytics, is responsible for the development and implementation of an enterprise data analytics platform for ACCESS. The Manager integrates data from complex and diverse internal database platforms (Finance, Epic, and Human Resources systems) and external data sources (payers, third party systems and content) to support organizational data production and consumption needs and requirements. The Manager is responsible for building and maintaining ACCESS' data repository/warehouse environments, and in conjunction with the Technical Services Department, developing a hosting infrastructure roadmap.
Core Job Responsibilities
Defines plans for the Enterprise Data and Analytics team, including standard methodologies, structured project management, strategy, planning, policies, procedures, and budget. Establishes and enforces standard implementation and support processes for requesting, triaging, prioritizing, testing, publishing, validating, and updating/optimizing data requests. Ensures team members are trained and follow structured methodologies; works with IS management to integrate processes. Collaborates with operational owners and leadership to develop reports, dashboards, and predictive analytics solutions to inform business decisions and support day-to-day operations. Collaborates with end users to identify needs and opportunities to improve data accuracy, viability, and value. Collaborates with stakeholders and actively pursues opportunities to increase data literacy and empower end users to utilize self-service tools and solutions. Oversees the ongoing development of the enterprise data warehouse. Ensures standard use of Epic tools and processes to implement and maintain Epic's data toolset. Participates in various workgroups and committees related to Finance, Revenue Cycle, Managed Care, Clinical Operations, Quality, Population Health, Medical Services, Research, and Grants. Works to define workflows and make configuration decisions with data needs in mind, bringing forward workflow, policy, procedure, and training questions and recommendations. Implements and manages the identification and resolution of all data and analytics issues, related training issues, and security requests; ensures conformity with all change control procedures; participates in downtime planning; participates in security and confidentiality safeguards. Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop, implement, and support data and analytic solutions to meet and maintain regulatory reporting - Medicare/Medicaid programs, HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set), UDS (Uniform Data System), and contractual obligation (managed care organizations, grant program, research study) needs and compliance. Manages direct reports; communicating expectations, providing coaching and feedback, monitoring and managing performance, and providing development opportunities. Other duties as assigned. Five years analytics-related Epic certification Five years of experience in business analytics Bachelor's degree;
Health related, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, or Industrial Engineering field preferred
Three years of systems project management experience (Epic project management experience strongly preferred) Three years of supervisory experience Experienced in designing, delivering, and managing effective and efficient customer service models Demonstrated knowledge of the ambulatory healthcare model, including electronic health record systems, interoperability, compliance, and regulatory requirements Demonstrated strong working knowledge of database management system extraction/transformation/load processes, with an understanding of various relational modeling techniques required Demonstrated understanding of high-level programming languages preferred
ACCESS is a Network of Federally Qualified Health Centers treating patients on the frontlines of community-based health care. Depending on position applied/being recruited for, candidates may be required to be vaccinated against communicable diseases and provide supporting documentation proving that they are properly vaccinated, or apply for religious and/or medical vaccination exemption as a part of the application process.
The pay ranges provided represent the minimum to mid-range for positions. Actual compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors including years of experience, educational background, market conditions, and available grant funding.
