A Day in the Life:
Elevate your career as a Senior Project Manager, Product Development Commercialization at Monster Energy Company! In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in managing innovation and change management projects across the Commercial Large Store, Foodservice, and On Premise (FSOP) channels, including Club and E-Commerce, within the US. You'll also oversee all on-pack marketing promotion projects. Your expertise will guide cross-functional teams through the company's stage gate process, ensuring alignment with business objectives while expertly handling scope, risk, resource analysis, and escalation processes with supply chain and commercial leadership.
The Impact You'll Make:
Take an active role in helping the design/scope of complex projects and project timeline templates or active project plans. Lead stakeholders with the development of the overall project plan/timeline strategy through stage 0 and 1 leadership. Lead weekly cross-functional team meetings with supply chain, technical community, and commercial stakeholders for a full report and plan for high complexity projects. Liaison with packaging vendors for continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and way-of-working (WOW) development to ensure efficiency in packaging execution. Track all activities and interact on a daily level to ensure communication of priorities and instill a sense of urgency with all stakeholders in New Product Development (NPD), Operations, Strategic Planning, Quality Assurance, and Commercial. Communicate progress and flag delays in timelines to NPD leadership by understanding the critical path of the project at hand to attempt to move the project along. Work with internal NPD stakeholders for delivery of tasks such as SAP set up of finished goods, raw materials, and kits as well as packaging development. Maintain creative, high performing, and motivated cross-functional teams through challenges, direction setting, coaching, and execution in everyday team interactions. Create tools to summarize/facilitate communication of tasks and responsibilities to the overall project team. Manage technical integration process with packaging vendors, packaging engineering, and procurement to ensure a timely commercialization of secondary artwork. Who You Are:
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Science, Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus. Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in project management role or supply chain management role involving supply chain development in the consumer goods industry or a related business function Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in cross-functional team leadership and operations Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on analytical and presentation tools (Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with other project management/team collaboration tools is a plus. Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Proven track-record of advancement in various high paced consumer goods companies. Knowledge of stage-gate product development process. Experience as a project manager for packaging development and print commercialization and at least 1 year experience as a supervisor to a team responsible for project/traffic management. New Product Development, Commercialization, or Brand Management in consumer-packaged goods experience is preferred. Educational background in Science or Engineering or proven track record of being able to manage projects that are technical in nature due to the development of print and packaging.
Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation; this position has an annual estimated
salary of $90,000 - $120,000 . The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
